Words cannot express our gratitude for the love, care and kindness you showed Phil from May 2021 when he moved into Harmony Court until November 2025 when he went out the doors for the last time.

From our first contact with Heather to arrange a tour, to yesterday’s beautiful memorial tea, we knew we have found the right place for Phil.

That feeling never wavered. We never had reason to doubt that Phil was being well-care for – quite the opposite – we know that, in the last few months especially, staff went above and beyond to help Phil stay in hone he loved.

Thank you again for yesterday’s memorial to Phil – the slideshow, the music, the doo, Storm and for bringing the folks from Harmony Court to share in the celebration. It was perfect!

Collectively, you create a warm and loving environment that is, I think, quite unique. It truly feels like home and, as much as we miss Phil, we also miss all of you. Linda, Heather, Grace, Rosalinda, Terri, Sue and so many others whose names we never knew or can’t remember – thank you for everything. You filled the last chapter of Phil’s like with respect, dignity, stimulation and kindness.

You people are the best. We feel so confident having our family member there, knowing she is well cared for and treated with respect. You are all angels!!! We surely appreciate it!

I just want you to know how much we appreciate everything all of you at Riverwood Square are doing to keep our family members safe and well looked after. I cannot imagine what a heavy load this puts on all of you. You have a big responsibility and you have risen to the occasion absolutely.

Words cannot express how much we have loved being a part of Riverwood Square family. From the moment we toured the facility, we were hooked. Everyone was so friendly and caring- you really do act like you are looking after your own loved ones. Dad was so excited when he saw suite 810 that he signed immediately on the dotted line. He had always been a true: Scotchman” (saver not a spender) and was extra frugal having been brought up during the depression. It was wonderful to see him willing to splurge so that he and mom could live in style in their “penthouse” apartment as he called it – with the most incredible view. He told me almost every time I saw him that it was the best decision he ever made and how much he loved that suite. He enjoyed every single minute of his years at Riverwood. He also said, ‘there’s never been a moment that I’ve been border living here”.

Linda, you have an incredible talent pool at Riverwood. I honestly think my Mom would have deteriorated quickly had it not been for the attentive behaviour and communication from your staff.

I have seldom observed a mission statement so completely actualized. Each time we entered Riverwood Square we read the statement about being United in Partnership and Support. Linda….we truly felt united in ensuring our Mom and indeed our family were supported and welcomed.
